Barrel of Makers is a group working to found Delaware's first makerspace-a community center where makers of different skill levels and ages can come together to build and showcase our projects, while we share the tools we need, and our advice with one another. Makerspaces are working to provide meaningful connection among generations and making passion sustainable. We need one of these in New Castle County, and we need your help to make it into a reality.

This group is intended for those who have some "experience" with movie making. It is not intended for professionals but for those who have the camera (video or DSLR) and want to be involved in the planning, writing, shooting, editing, and music production necessary to end up with both a personal and a group film. This is not a group for those who have no concept of movie making. Meetups will be in very small groups at my home, on location, or at other venues.

Bring your home made or home grown foods and make one-to-one trades with others (i.e. a dozen backyard eggs for a loaf of home-baked bread). Our swaps typically take place on the 1st Friday of the month, sometimes we have a pot luck beforehand.
